London Sights, Sounds and Hotels
The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is without doubt the greatest museum of applied arts in the world, certainly in size and the enormous range of collections. It has more of Constable's paintings than the Tate, seven Raphael masterpieces, collections of medieval and Renaissance sculpture and the largest collection of Indian art outside of India, vast galleries of Islamic, Japanese and Chinese objets d'art, and that just scratches the surface of the wealth of attractions. There is no way that this museum can be covered in just one day, but if overcome by all that is offered for your visual appetite, there is an excellent café and restaurant where the body can be nourished and strengthened for further exploration.
